I blog because I live to write and no one will pay me for it…I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands. While working toward my B.S., I became so involved with writing news, I neglected all other aspects of life. I thought I was preparing myself for the future; the future had other plans. I am now trying to get my pen and paper to be lovers again — yes I do write outside of my blog, though not nearly enough.

I speak my mind. I care. I cry. I will always fight. I’ve been called a bitch by the ignorant, but that doesn’t stop me, it just makes me fight harder. I will never conform. I will never back down.

I have an innate desire to change the world and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I will also have a concentration in nonprofit management when all is said and done.

I love long dashes, hate exclamation points and commas elicit no emotional response. Ellipses are my favorite and I often overuse them…

I love life and try to live it whenever I have time.
